TVApplaunchЯ puts favourites and app rows up front without ads in its own home screen. Try it as an app first, then decide whether changing your remote’s Home behaviour makes sense for your TV.
What to check before you switch.
Android TV and Google TV are not identical on every screen
Both can run Android-based TV apps, but the Home button and available settings vary by manufacturer, model, OS version and firmware. Google TV devices may keep their own branded Home experience. Even a device reporting a Home preference does not prove its physical remote will follow it.
App install and Home setup are separate
Install TVApplaunchЯ, open it from Apps and check that your apps and remote navigation work. If you want it to open with Home, the supported optional route described here is Launcher Manager, a separate utility that may need ADB, Network or Wireless debugging. It is not the Fire TV redirect.
Before changing Home, make sure you can still reach TV Settings and know how to restore the original launcher. Some devices may not allow this setup at all. Read the compatibility notice.
From APK to your home screen.
Install and try Free
Get the signed APK using Downloader, Squiffix or a trusted file transfer from the official installation guide. Allow installation from that source if prompted, then open TVApplaunchЯ from Apps. You can turn that install permission off afterwards.
Choose what belongs up front
Free includes favourites, recent apps, app ordering, one profile, bundled wallpapers and up to three custom rows. Pro adds more rows, more profiles, your own wallpaper and fonts, and deeper appearance options. Home-button setup is not a Pro requirement.
Only if you want: configure Home
Follow the Launcher Manager steps and restore instructions. Enable the relevant debugging setting, select TVApplaunchЯ, and test the actual Home button. If the TV does not cooperate, keep opening the app from Apps rather than assuming Home has changed.
Make it yours with Pro.
Pro is a one-time upgrade, not a requirement to use the launcher. It adds custom wallpapers and fonts, more presentation choices and the web Studio for arranging a layout draft on a phone or computer.
A Studio draft is not a live view of your TV. Save and send a layout separately, then review and confirm it on the TV before it changes the active setup. Studio’s app list is the last list sent by the selected TV, not a live inventory.

Does TVApplaunchЯ work on Google TV as well as Android TV?
You can install and open the APK as an app on compatible Android TV and Google TV devices. Home-button control is a separate, optional Launcher Manager setup and depends on the device, OS version and manufacturer restrictions.
Will installing the APK change my Home button?
No. Installing TVApplaunchЯ lets you open it from your TV’s Apps list. On Android TV and Google TV, follow the optional Launcher Manager steps if you want to try using it for Home.
Can I go back to the original TV home screen?
Yes, where Launcher Manager setup succeeds, use Disable Custom Launcher in Launcher Manager to restore the original Home before uninstalling Launcher Manager. Test the original Home button and then turn off debugging.
Is TVApplaunchЯ available to install from Google Play?
Not yet. The Google Play listing is set up, but installation there is coming soon. For now, use the official APK and installation guide.
