Open your apps from a home screen you arrange yourself. TVApplaunchЯ works as a regular Fire TV app; making the Home button lead back to it is an optional, device-dependent extra step.

Amazon Home stays on your device
Fire TV does not offer an ordinary app the same default-Home choice as other Android TV devices. TVApplaunchЯ’s optional built-in service observes when Amazon Home appears and attempts to redirect to your TVApplaunchЯ screen. Amazon Home is not uninstalled; it may flash before the redirect, and a device update can change the result.
Choose Home and Menu independently
Home redirect is off until you opt in and complete setup. A hold-Menu shortcut is a separate optional setting; a normal short Menu press keeps its usual behaviour. You can turn either option off in the app’s Fire TV Home & Menu settings.
Fire OS 7/8 behaviour varies across models and firmware. Check that you can still reach full device Settings before relying on a Home shortcut. See compatibility limitations.

Use the official installation guide for Downloader, Squiffix, phone transfer or computer ADB instructions. Approve install-from-unknown-apps for your chosen source if asked; switch that permission off afterwards. Find TVApplaunchЯ in Your Apps & Channels.
Try your own setup in Free
Arrange favourites and recent apps, order apps and use up to three custom rows, one profile and bundled wallpapers. Pro adds more rows and profiles, custom wallpaper and fonts, plus Studio tools. Neither tier requires you to change the Home button.
Optionally set up Home
If you choose Home redirect, the Fire TV Home & Menu instructions explain the one-time ADB permission grant from another device and the in-app service and Home switches. Test after opening another app and pressing Home. Turn ADB Debugging off after setup. This is not the Android TV Launcher Manager method.
You stay in control.
To stop the redirect, open TVApplaunchЯ → Settings → Fire TV Home & Menu and turn off Home Button → TVApplaunchЯ. The optional Hold Menu switch can be turned off independently. Keep an alternative way to reach your device settings while testing: the shortcut cannot be guaranteed on every remote or firmware.
For more personalisation, Pro’s web Studio lets you work on a layout draft from your phone or computer, not your TV browser. Saving the website layout and sending it to your TV are separate actions; the TV asks you to review and confirm before applying it. An app list shown in Studio is the last snapshot sent by that TV, not a live feed.

Does installing TVApplaunchЯ replace Amazon Home?
No. You can open TVApplaunchЯ as an ordinary app after installation. The optional Fire TV Home setting redirects when Amazon Home appears; it does not remove or replace Amazon’s launcher.
Do I need Launcher Manager on Fire TV?
No. Launcher Manager is the separate optional Android TV and Google TV Home setup. Fire TV has its own built-in, opt-in Home redirect that requires an additional one-time ADB permission.
Can I turn the Fire TV Home redirect off?
Yes. The Home and hold-Menu options are separate switches in TVApplaunchЯ → Settings → Fire TV Home & Menu. Turn the Home option off to stop the redirect and use Amazon Home normally.
Will the Home redirect work on every Fire TV Stick?
No guarantee. Fire OS version, device and firmware can change how Home behaves. Amazon Home may appear briefly or the redirect may not work reliably. TVApplaunchЯ can still be opened from Your Apps & Channels.
