Choose, upload, and generate wallpapers
Use included stills and loops, upload supported images or video, build a slideshow, or create an AI image while keeping TV delivery separate from editing.
Before you start
- Sign in to Studio. Uploads and generated images are stored in your account library.
Choose a single still or animated loop
Open the “Wallpaper” tab and choose “Still images” or “Animated loops”. Use the included-wallpaper search and category/type filters to browse, or select an item already in “Your asset library”.
An included wallpaper is copied to your asset library for free when you choose “Add & use free” or “Add & use video free”. This uses no upload or AI-generation credit. Selecting it changes the website draft only.
Use “Preview video” or “Preview loop” for a muted looping preview. TV playback may differ from the browser preview. “Keep TV wallpaper” leaves the TV’s wallpaper alone when a full layout is applied.
Upload a still image or video
Choose “Upload your own”, then select PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, or MP4. PNG/JPEG/WebP files may be up to 50 MiB, GIF up to 10 MiB, and MP4 up to 20 MiB.
GIF uploads are processed into MP4 video loops. Keep Studio open until processing finishes. An uploaded wallpaper is selected in the draft; it is not sent to the TV automatically.
After selecting the result, either use “Send wallpaper only to selected TV” for a single still/video on a supported updated TV, or choose “Save website layout” and later review the complete layout on the TV.
Build a rotating still-image slideshow
Choose “Slideshow” and select “Set up slideshow”. Add JPEG, PNG, or WebP images from your library; included still images can be added to the library and slideshow for free.
Add between 1 and 30 still images, reorder them with the up/down controls, choose seconds per image (5–3600), a Cut or Fade transition, and whether Shuffle is on.
GIFs and video files cannot be slideshow slides. Studio previews only the first image; the TV runs the full slideshow after you save the website layout and confirm it on the TV.
Use “Stop slideshow on TV” to explicitly stop the slideshow in this draft. “Keep TV slideshow setting” leaves the TV’s current slideshow setting unchanged when the layout is applied.
Generate an AI theme idea or wallpaper
Choose “AI wallpaper”. “Generate theme” creates a palette idea; each Pro code can request up to 3 AI theme ideas per rolling 24 hours. Previewing or applying an idea does not cost a wallpaper credit.
Image generation uses a separate balance. Each Pro code starts with 15 included image-generation requests; the current included, paid, remaining, and saved-image balances are shown in the panel. Only a successful new image generation uses a request. Reusing a saved image does not spend another one.
Generated images are saved in the AI wallpaper collection. The collection has its own displayed storage limit, separate from generation credits. Deleting an image frees collection space but does not restore a spent generation request.
When applying an AI result, choose whether to add colors, wallpaper, or both to the unsaved draft. Choosing wallpaper-only keeps TV colors; choosing colors-only keeps the TV wallpaper. Then review in Layout and save the website layout if desired.
- Gallery previews and selecting an image are not TV delivery. Use the wallpaper-only command or the full save-and-confirm flow intentionally.
- Deleting an asset also removes its references from the current draft and may affect saved layouts/backups that use it. Studio will prevent deletion when a saved slideshow still references the asset.
